A Little Backstory

Since the beginning of my RuneScape career I have been an F2per. I simply could not obtain membership due to other monetary endeavors such as beginning college. I have always tried to find ways that could help fund my RuneScape membership that wasn’t your typical “get rich quick” scheme. It wasn’t long before my search was littered with “get paid to” sites. While most of them are your typical “get rich quick” scheme that easily fail…others actually surprised me with how they work.

Testing the Waters

The ones that seem to offer the best payouts are the ones that actually require a little work such as the type that require you to take surveys or complete free signups. None were satisfactory enough to really fund my membership and at the end of the day, I would still require a credit card if I wanted any of my PayPal money to be approved by RuneScape. Having not signed up for any sort of credit card and mostly banking my money in my savings account…it just wasn’t feasible.

Finding the Diamond in the Ruff

After several months of visiting several “get paid to” sites…I finally found the diamond in the ruff that would help me get my RuneScape membership as painlessly as possible. This site was called Gaming Lagoon. Gaming Lagoon has a relatively young history. Its only been active for a couple years but it boasts thousands and thousands of members. Plus a basic YouTube search of “gaming lagoon testimonials” reveals countless homemade videos of people showing off their prizes. The beauty of the site is that the gaming prizes can be obtained through points (1 point = $1 USD) earned by completing free surveys or signups or by gaining credit from offers completed by your referrals.

How it Works

In order to get started on Gaming Lagoon you have to sign up with 100% factual information (see my Guide to Getting Started video). After I went through the registration/verification process, I started looking at their available offers. By organizing the results by Category: Free and Order by: Point Value, I found several surveys and signups with 0.50+ payouts. I took things slow so my progress wasn’t as speedy as other Lagooners…but even with my snail pace I managed to achieve the 9 pts required to get the Ultimate Game Card prize (a PayByCash option on RuneScape) after a mere week.

Bottom Line

So really the bottom line is…I finally have a way to pay for my RuneScape membership that does not impact my pocket or cheat me of real payouts. Why settle for those “click on ad” sites that give you mere pennies everyday? Why opt for other survey sites that will not allow you to complete surveys for several months after the first payout? Why not sign up on a site that actually has Customer Support and a highly active support forum filled with people just like you?
